Is mixed poultry corn suitable for all poultry?

Yes. Chickens, ducks, geese and some game birds can all enjoy mixed corn. However, waterfowl may prefer larger grains or whole maize. Ensure it is fed as part of a balanced feeding programme.

When is the best time of day to feed mixed corn?

Late afternoon or early evening is ideal. Feeding mixed corn later in the day helps the birds digest it slowly over night, providing warmth and preventing them from overeating treats earlier.

Can mixed corn cause weight gain?

Yes, if overfed. Because it is energy dense too much can lead to obesity, which reduces laying performance. However when fed appropriately is it the ideal treat to help maintain the condition of healthy birds.

Store in a cool dry place.
