How do I switch my rabbit to a new type of feed?
Introduce new pellets gradually over 7-10 days mixing increasing amounts into the old feed. Sudden changes can upset a rabbits digestive system.
Are rabbit pellets a complete diet for rabbits?
No. Pellets are only part of a proper rabbit diet, A healthy daily diet should include hay, leafy greens and pellets as a controlled supplement, the pellets offer the vitamins and minerals, but should not replace fibre rich hay.
